According to Koppens climate, the region where Vienna lays, it's characterized by a humid continental climate, with warm, sometimes hot summers where the maximum temperatures range from 22 to 26 degrees Celsius, while the lows are between 15 and 18 degrees Celsius. The wintertime in Vienna comes with cold temperatures below freezing point, occasionally large amount of precipitations in form of snow (starting in December till March). Summer receives generally a larger amount of precipitation then winter.
The spring and autumn are mild and pleasant seasons to come and visit Vienna.
