Hotel Mozart welcomes you on our homepage and we are pleased to introduce ourselves: The house was built at the turn of the century, during the period of Emperor Franz Joseph. Originally planned as dwelling house, it became soon a hotel named "Egerländer". After World War II soldiers of the U.S. allied troops were quartered in the building. At that time the hotel was named "Franz Joseph Bahn". Not until intense renovations during the 50ies, was the hotel named after one of the greatest composers.
